The classic Newari water pot, raised from a flat copper disc with nothing but hammers and stakes. Its shape has not changed in centuries because it does not need to.

About this piece
Still used daily across Kathmandu Valley for carrying and storing water. As a domestic object outside Nepal it works as a vase or simply as a piece of shape.
The surface will darken to a deep russet. Most people leave it.
