Terms of Service
Plain terms for a small shop. Nothing here removes any statutory right you have as a consumer in your own country.
1. Who we are
Yugo Bazar is a retailer of handmade Nepali craft, based in Lalitpur, Nepal, selling worldwide through this website.
2. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The contract forms when we confirm your order by email. We may decline an order if an item has sold, if we cannot ship to your country, or if we cannot verify the delivery address — and if we do, you pay nothing.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and include our margin, packing and worldwide shipping. They exclude import duty and tax in your country, which you pay.
No payment is taken on this site. After you order, we contact you to arrange payment by bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, Wise or cash on delivery. Your pieces are reserved for five days from the order date; if payment is not arranged within that window we may release them to other customers.
4. Stock and one-of-a-kind items
Most items exist in a quantity of one. Stock is decremented when you place your order, so an item in your confirmed order is yours. Occasionally two orders land within seconds of each other on the last piece; if that happens, the later order is cancelled in full and refunded immediately, and we will tell you straight away.
5. Handmade variation
Every item is made by hand and will vary in colour, dimension, weight and finish from any photograph. Screen colour reproduction also varies. Small tool marks, seam lines, grain differences and dye variation are characteristics of handwork, not defects. Our returns policy covers you if a piece is not what you wanted regardless.
6. Shipping and risk
Risk passes to you on delivery, not on dispatch. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, that is ours to resolve — see the shipping page.
7. Intellectual property
The text and photographs on this site are ours. Please do not copy them onto another shop. The craft traditions themselves belong to the communities that hold them and we claim nothing over those.
8. Reviews and submissions
Reviews are read by a person before publication. We publish critical reviews as readily as positive ones and will not edit the substance of what you wrote. We remove anything abusive, off-topic or not about the product.
9. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, plus any duty you paid, except where the law does not permit that limit. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Nepal. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection, you keep the protection of your own country's law and can bring proceedings there.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
