About this piece
The colour order is not decorative: blue is sky, white air, red fire, green water, yellow earth, and reversing them is considered incorrect. Each flag carries the wind horse at centre with mantras filling the field around it.
Printed from hand-carved wooden blocks, so ink coverage varies between flags and some impressions are heavier than others.
They are supposed to fade. The teaching is that the wind carries the prayers out as the ink weathers, so a bleached flag has done its work rather than worn out.

Care & keeping
Hand wash cold with a mild wool detergent, or dry clean. Do not wring — press the water out flat and dry away from direct sun. Store folded with cedar rather than mothballs.

Free tracked shipping worldwide, with no minimum. We pack and dispatch from Kathmandu within 1–2 business days. Nepal deliveries usually arrive in 1–2 days; international orders in 5–12 business days depending on your country's customs.
Import duties and taxes in your own country are not included and are payable by you.
